Q: Can the Equifax report be printed? Approximately how many pages it will be? I have an ink jet printer and I am worried about running out of ink. Can it be saved as a PDF or other printable document and emailed to a friend for printing on another (desktop laser) printer best
A: Yes, credit report can be printed. The length varies according to your personal information and particularly credit report format, but you can probably expect it to be somewhere around 10-20 pages. The best way to print from another computer is going to connect to the Equifax Member Center on this computer and access your credit report from there.
However, most credit reports, including those provided by Equifax, are designed to be viewed on the screen rather than printed. Unless you have been invited to deliver a paper credit report to get a loan, there is no real benefit to printing one. And if you provide a paper credit report for a lender, you must be aware of the risks associated with the circulation of a document containing a lot of sensitive personal information.
