Violation Alert data: Over 200 children exposed identities UK -
A laptop containing the names, addresses, dates of birth and history of medical treatment 238 children was stolen from a medical facility the UK.
A thief just walked into a medical center in Telford, England, unplugged the laptop and left with it. The laptop had access to the National Health Service system of England, but the officials off access when the theft was discovered. It is not believed that the thief had access to any information beyond the 238 identities that were stored locally on the laptop.
