Confirmed: violation of data related to 15% off sale at all TJ Maxx, Marshalls stores Thursday, January 22, 2009 -
We have confirmed that all TJX stores throughout the countries, including TJ Maxx, Marshalls, The Maxx, AJ Wright and HomeGoods, will hold a fire sale by 15% tomorrow Thursday, January 22, 2009. The sale is part of a customer goodwill efforts following a massive data breach by the company that exposed millions of customer records to hackers.
The sale at 15% discount will be open to all buyers, not just consumers who were potentially affected by the breach. TJX also honor other discounts above 15% (although this does not include employee discounts). TJX has already stated that all stores have extended hours from 8 am to 10 pm, the special sale day.
