Alert data Breach HSBC loses hundreds of thousands of client files -
HSBC World Bank announced last week they lost a disc computer containing personal information of about 370,000 customers in the UK
The disc was couriered to the seat of life insurance companies in England when he was moved. customer names, dates of birth and insurance information were included on the disc. Since the account numbers and address details where not exposed to breach the risk of identity theft has been greatly diminished.
