Con games have made great subjects for films, and it is possible that they even do a little smarter about how these people work. Or maybe we're suckers for these films for the same reason that people are suckers for any inconvenience: everyone loves a good story. 1. The Sting : It's hard not to like Robert Redford and Paul Newman as they trace their con game developed. As they are grifting gangsters, they are a rare heroic crooks bread.
