Apple shocked many observers by announcing today that they will allow third-party software developers to create applications that will allow iPhone owners to make voip calls on this device integrated into the WLAN.
This is surprising for several reasons, but mainly because this will actually allow iPhone users to use VoIP to bypass wireless service from AT & T AT & T is the provider exclusive wireless iPhone.

We expect that many VoIP companies established and some new players will probably start developing Internet phone applications for iPhone in the near future. This is a great step forward for VoIP in general.
