Online Backup programs are becoming so popular, some PC manufacturers will soon start shipping computers with programs online backup already integrated. New Lenovo ThinkPad SL notebooks in the series include the Mozy software, and customers receive 5 GB of free storage for 90 days. Today, Dell announced that the new Dell netbook include 2GB of free storage with Box.net, as well as a discount on the premium services Box.net. Carbonite CEO David Friend said recently he expects most PCs to come with an online backup service included in the coming years, and said that the next step would backups seamless with space and software installations are longer a problem.
