Q: I am a lifetime [Weight Watchers] Member but I have not seen for a long time. I join again. How does life member, are you charged for not attending a meeting or you are charged only for the meetings you attend
A :? Weight Watchers meetings members who reach their goal weight and maintain that goal weight in both books for six consecutive weeks are awarded Life Memberships. Life members may attend Weight Watchers meetings at no cost, as long as they are not more than two pounds above their goal weight.
Once you have reached the status of life member, you will always be a life member and will never have to pay another registration fee. You have to weigh your first meeting of each month, and if you weigh more than two pounds above your goal weight, you will be charged the weekly fee. You will not be required to pay for the missed appointment unless you have not weighed in a period of one month. You are still eligible for lifetime benefits, based on your location, you may be eligible for reduced fees.
If you have misplaced your life membership number you can call Weight Watchers at 800-651-6000, or by completing an application form at WeightWatchers.com.
