DivShare, a free, advertising-supported online backup and file sharing, experienced a security breach yesterday. Last night, the company announced on its blog that the email addresses of users, and other basic information had been accessed by a user â € œmalicious, â € ?? and advised users to change their passwords. Some files were unavailable stored up to 18 hours as DivShare deployed new security measures following the violation. So DivShare stated that no financial information was compromised, the breach demonstrates the importance of security in online backup services. To back up important files, it is essential to choose a backup service online secure and trustworthy.
