Data Breach Alert: Registration website exposes presidential primary voters in the impersonation -
A voter registration site for the next presidential primary in Pennsylvania was arrested this week after the personal information of more than 30,000 individuals have been exposed online.
The website allowed Pennsylvania residents to fill out a registration form voters that could be printed and mailed to state election officials. A programming error made these forms which included the name, address, date of birth, driver's license number and last four digits of social security number, publicly available on the web.
The State Department of Pennsylvania close the site as soon as the breach was discovered this week.
