Alert data for infringement: a stolen laptop exposes the identities of 20,000 employees of Kraft -
The identities of about 20,000 Kraft Foods employees were exposed after a laptop containing the names and other personal data, possibly including social security numbers, was stolen.
Kraft began distributing letters to affected employees this week to inform them of the data breach. The company will provide employees affected by two years of credit report monitoring service to help mitigate the risk of potential identity theft.
