A: The purchase version of Carbonite will back up your iTunes music by default. If you are not sure that it, here's what you should do. These are indications for a Windows machine:

1. Go to "My Computer" (or "Computer" in Vista)

2. Find your way to your iTunes music via this path:

3. Look for green dots. If there are green points MP3 files, then they are saved. This explanation of the site Carbonite files shows the three possible states can be:

4. If you do not see green dots, you can right click on the folder. Use the context menu to select "Back Up this."

If you use a Mac, it is pretty much the same process, except that you'll start your search in the sidebar "Places" in the viewfinder of a window.
